CT Basketball Fans,

Welcome, Cherokee Trail High School fans to yet another exciting year of Cougar basketball.  As the Athletic Director of Cherokee Trail High School, I am looking forward to this season as we look to be a competitive force in the Centennial League, and I am excited about the possibilities this season brings.  Our coaching staff led by Gary Childress has set high expectations for the team both on and off the court.  I am honored to work with such outstanding and dedicated coaching staff.

I would like to thank all the families and community members for their continued support of Cougar basketball and for modeling positive sporting behavior at our games.  Cherokee Trail High School serves a community that promotes character, discipline, and a strong sense of purpose.  There are high expectations placed on all our student/athletes, and we are proud of them as they demonstrate teamwork, sportsmanship, and pride in their program and school.  The vision of the Athletic Department is dedicated to the pursuit of athletic excellence where all students have access to a program that values academics, character, equity, leadership and team work and quality.  Our mission is to develop athletes that are competitive, demonstrate integrity and good sportsmanship, and are led by a quality and principled coaching staff.  Once again, we appreciate your continued support of the Cherokee Trail basketball program!
